Located directly across from Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn, 240 Willoughby Street is a prominent residential development bringing modern rental living to one of the borough’s most established neighborhoods. Originally developed as a 30-story, 300-unit residential project with 147 affordable residences, the development has evolved into a 463-unit rental community featuring studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom residences.

Developed by Rabsky Group, the project was designed by Fischer Rasmussen Whitefield Architects and constructed by Galaxy Developers. The development occupies a prominent site bounded by Willoughby Street, Fort Greene Park, Ashland Place, and The Brooklyn Hospital Center, placing residents within close proximity to the park, Downtown Brooklyn, and the surrounding Fort Greene neighborhood.

The completed residences feature contemporary interiors with sleek kitchens, walnut-finished cabinetry, quartz countertops, natural stone accents, and integrated stainless-steel appliances. Many residences also offer private outdoor spaces with views toward Fort Greene Park and the Manhattan skyline.

For this project, GFO Stone supplied two quartz selections: GFO Calacatta Oia Quartz GQ1810 and GFO Pure White Quartz GQ1006. The combination creates a sophisticated and versatile material palette, pairing the elegant, marble-inspired character of Calacatta Oia with the clean, contemporary appearance of Pure White Quartz.

These GFO Stone quartz surfaces complement the project's modern architectural language and refined residential interiors, providing a cohesive finish throughout the large-scale multifamily development. The materials were selected to support the project's balance of contemporary design, functionality, and timeless visual appeal.
